Privacy Policy
At a glance
- This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking services.
- Fonts, images and video thumbnails are hosted on our own server — loading the page sends no data to Google/YouTube.
- A YouTube video is only loaded once you explicitly click “Load video” in the player (two-click solution).
- Our web server keeps no access logs containing IP addresses (see below).

We have not appointed a data protection officer, as there is no legal obligation to do so.
2. Hosting and server log files
This website runs on a virtual server operated by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany (data center in the EU). We have concluded a data processing agreement with IONOS pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
When you visit the site, the web server necessarily has to process the data your browser transmits (including your IP address, date and time, the requested address and your browser identifier) in order to deliver the page. This processing only takes place transiently in memory: we do not store any access logs (log files) containing IP addresses. Only technical server error messages that cannot be linked to individual visitors are recorded in the system log.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the technical provision and security of the website).
The connection is encrypted via TLS (HTTPS). The certificates are issued by Let’s Encrypt; no visitor data is transmitted to Let’s Encrypt in the process.
3. No cookies, no tracking
We do not set cookies and do not embed any analytics, advertising or social media services. The video list is loaded from a file on our server (videos.json), which we regularly sync with our public YouTube channel. This sync takes place between our server and YouTube — not in your browser.
4. Fonts and images
The fonts used (Fredoka, Nunito) as well as all images, the logo and the video thumbnails are loaded locally from our server. No connection is made to Google Fonts, content delivery networks or YouTube.
5. YouTube videos (two-click solution)
On this website you can play videos from our YouTube channel directly. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“YouTube/Google”).
When you open a video, we first show only a locally stored preview image. Only when you click “Load video” is the YouTube player loaded in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). This establishes a connection to YouTube/Google servers and transmits, among other things, your IP address, device and browser information, the address of our website and information about how you use the player. YouTube may store or read cookies or similar technologies on your device. If you are logged in to a Google account, YouTube may associate the playback with your account.
Data may be transferred to the USA. Google is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision of the European Commission of 10 July 2023).
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG), which you give by clicking “Load video”. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by closing the player or reloading the page — no further video will be loaded without another click.
“Remember for this session”: If you tick this box, we store the entry rr-youtube-consent = 1 in your browser’s session storage so that further videos start without asking again. This entry never leaves your device, is not transmitted to us and is deleted automatically when you close the tab. You can remove it at any time via “Stop remembering for this session” in the player.

6. Links to YouTube
Links such as “Visit channel” or “Watch on YouTube” lead to youtube.com. Data is only transmitted once you click such a link; from then on, Google’s privacy policy applies.
7. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20), as well as the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time (Art. 7(3) GDPR).
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), for example the authority responsible for our registered office: The State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg (Landesbeauftragter für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg), Lautenschlagerstraße 20, 70173 Stuttgart, Germany.
8. Changes
We update this privacy policy whenever the website or the legal situation changes. Last updated: October 2026
